Autonomous Drone Deployment

The sky is the install crew.

Every DeepSense node in the forest stays current — firmware, AI models, calibration — without a single person leaving the command center. Drones do the visits.

Mission lifecycle

One flight. Six choreographed steps.

01

Launch

Drone lifts off from the ranger station on a pre-cleared corridor with the mission manifest onboard.

02

Handshake

Short-range mesh handshake with each DeepSense node — mutual auth, signed challenge, session key.

03

Push

Delta-only firmware and refreshed AI weights stream down. Interrupted transfers resume next pass.

04

Harvest

Encrypted edge logs, detections, and audit trails are pulled up before the drone moves on.

05

Verify

Node reboots into the new image, self-tests every sensor, and reports health back.

06

Return

Drone returns to base, uploads harvested payload to the India-region cloud, and logs the mission.

Capabilities

Built for the long silence between visits.

Signed OTA firmware
Every image is signed and verified on device. Rollback slot is always preserved.
Model refresh
New acoustic, gas, and vision weights ship as delta packs — no full reflash needed.
Encrypted harvest
Edge logs, detections, and audit trails uplinked with per-mission session keys.
Offline-first mesh
Nodes operate for weeks without cellular. Drones are the network when they visit.
Zero trust link
Mutual authentication and short-lived tokens. A lost drone can't compromise the mesh.
Low-impact ops
Quiet corridors, low-altitude passes, minimal wildlife disturbance.

A typical mission

Three hours. Whole forest current.

  1. T-0h
    Mission scheduled

Manifest generated with target nodes, firmware version, and flight corridor.

  2. T+0h
    Wheels up

Drone launches on autonomous route, streaming telemetry to command.

  3. T+0.5h
    First handshake

Reaches sector 3, authenticates node cluster, begins delta push.

  4. T+2h
    Harvest phase

Encrypted logs uplinked. Nodes reboot into new image and self-test.

  5. T+3h
    Return & sync

Drone lands. Payload synced to India-region cloud. Mission signed and archived.

Trust model

Every packet signed. Every node verified.

Drones are couriers, not authorities. A compromised drone cannot flash a malicious image, because trust lives in the signing keys held by Odraix ground infrastructure — not in the sky.
