Drone role

Sky-side service for every node.

On a scheduled circuit the Odraix drone visits each DeepSense unit: push signed firmware and AI models down, pull encrypted edge logs up, then fly to the next node. Sensing and alert uplink stay with the canopy mesh and gateway; the drone keeps every node current and collected.

OTA firmware & models
Signed, delta-only rollouts land on each DeepSense node during a short hover.
Encrypted data harvest
Edge detections, health and audit logs uplink to the drone before it flies to the next node.
Scheduled canopy circuit
Hover, sync, then onward. When the drone leaves, nodes keep sensing and uplinking on their own.

Each layer has one job.

Layer 01

Forest Main Nodes

On the LoRa mesh

DeepSense nodes form the mesh — fusing acoustic, gas and night vision on-device, then sending classified signals across the mesh toward gateways.

Layer 02

Department Vehicles

Signal into nodes

Patrol vehicles send location and status signals to nearby DeepSense nodes. Vehicles talk to the node layer — they are not mesh routers themselves.

Layer 03

Central Gateway

Receives mesh uplinks

Odra Gateway sits at the edge of the forest mesh, aggregates traffic from nodes, buffers offline, and backhauls over 4G or satellite to the cloud.

Layer 04

Autonomous Drone

Firmware + data harvest

Flies node to node on a scheduled circuit — signed firmware and models down, encrypted edge logs up — then moves on to the next DeepSense unit.
